In 1990 INTERGEO Environmental Technology Ltd. was established in Thessaloniki as a subsidiary company of INTERGEO Salzburg, aiming to provide the same services as the mother company and to transfer experience and know-how in Greece on the fields of environmental services and engineering geology. Staff The key personnel consists of geologists, hydrogeologists, environmental scientists, chemists, and process engineers. INTERGEO in Greece has been engaged in many projects all over the country and also in Cyprus. For the proper execution of all these projects an INTERGEO branch office has been established in Athens and local company representatives exist in Corfu and in Chanea-Crete.
Intergeo Environmental Technology is also active in the field of geotechnical investigation and design. A number of geotechnical investigations were performed in major projects in Greece: Geotechnical investigations (over 1,200m of geotechnical drillholes) in the frame of the PBG and Gold exploitation mines in Halkidiki, Greece (TVX Hellas S.A.). Geotechnical investigations (over 2,000 m of geotechnical drillholes) in various sections of Egnatia Odos. Furthermore, INTERGEO expertise in the field of water drillings, where the relevant experience is quite impressive. |
