| Project description |
A contamination of volatile hydrocarbons was found in the vicinity of pipes during a changing of gasoline pipes at this gasoline station. The remediation was performed with in-situ measures with soil vapour extraction. To speed up the working process on site, horizontal perforated pipes were installed and connected to 2 soil vapour extraction units with activated carbon filters. In the following 7 months the remediation was finished successfully and in accordance with the local authorities.
Client: Oil industry
