| Project description |
A contamination of volatile hydrocarbons was found in the unsaturated soil zone during construction works at this gasoline station. In the first step the center of contamination was excavated under the supervision of Intergeo. To speed up the working process on site, 2 layers of horizontal perforated pipes were installed and connected to 4 soil vapour extraction units with activated carbon filters. The remediation was finished successfully In the following 12 months and in accordance with the local authorities.
